What relationships have a positive impact on you?
At this stage in my life, the relationships that positively impact me are the ones that feel safe. I no longer engage in connections that make me question my worth or force me to shrink. I value people who respect my boundaries, honor my voice, and allow me to exist without fear or explanation. Peace is no longer optional for me—it is essential.
The relationships that nourish me most are those that encourage my growth. I am evolving, healing, and becoming, and I need people in my life who celebrate that journey instead of resisting it. These are the relationships where my healing is honored, my progress is supported, and my transformation is met with grace rather than discomfort.
I am deeply impacted by relationships that are rooted in faith and shared values. Connections that speak life into me, remind me of who God says I am, and encourage hope even in difficult seasons help ground me. These relationships anchor my spirit when the world feels heavy.
Healthy relationships in my life now are built on mutual care. For so long, I was the one pouring into everyone else. Today, I allow myself to receive love, support, and care without guilt. I value balance—relationships where checking on one another flows naturally and support goes both ways.
Most importantly, the relationships that serve me best bring calm, not chaos. They feel steady, clear, and emotionally safe. They leave me feeling lighter, not drained. My nervous system recognizes peace now, and I honor that awareness.
At this point in my journey, I choose relationships that protect my peace, honor my healing, respect my boundaries, and align with the woman I am becoming.
I am reminded of this truth in Scripture:
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.”
— Colossians 3:15 (NIV)
